ENEX has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the European Parliament in the run-up to next year’s European Elections [May 23-26, 2019].
With Brexit approaching and volatile politics in many national elections, next spring’s European plebiscite is expected to be one of the most important and hotly contested in recent years. The MOU, signed by Jaume Duch, Director-General for Communication and Adrian Wells, Managing Director of ENEX, commits both organisations to cooperate in facilitating coverage of the elections for ENEX partners. Access to the EP’s audio-visual facilities, studios and interconnectivity is free for ENEX channels.
Attending the event were News Directors from CME stations including Venelin Pektov, bTV Bulgaria; Henrich Krejca, Markiza, Slovakia; Tjasa Slokar, POP TV, Slovenia; Kamil Houska, TV Nova, Czech Republic and Gabriela Popescu, Pro TV Romania.
